Jynnji for the future
Investing in the Jynnji Project is investing in positive impact upon the future health, sustainability, standard, and viability of local commerce, local culture, local private, and local public services and resources.
Investing in the Jynnji Project means investing in the people, the creative industries, and the communities that are already living here, thriving pre Covid - 19, and surviving through it. Those that are already bringing additional benefits to the region, to it's society and to it's economy.
Without doing so what incentives are there for the young to be able to remain here? What happens to the skilled, experienced crafts people, the skilled technicians, the artists and artisans? How do we attract the best into the region from the rest of the UK, or the rest of the world?

By building into the design the necessary safety parameters we are now aware of post Covid-19. Investing in the Jynnji project supports future proofing the region's culture, community and economy. Allowing ongoing use through future similar circumstances in greater safety.
Without such investment how will the community rebuild and rejuvenate after such a unique course of events? We cannot continue to commute, work, recreate or congregate in the ways we used to, if we do so the future of our cultural and community practices, our physical and economic well being will remain at the mercy of our ignorance.

The Jynnji Project utilises the National TOM’s framework, which ensures we can evidence our strong local community ties, our creative networks, and our existing value. It also ensures that we can identify how we'll get the most community, environmental and sustainable benefit out of our planning and development, our local relationships, our objectives, and our project delivery.
We must adopt new ways of working together, we must set new priorities in working at local level, to support local needs. How else do we realistically meet Government policy around people, planet, place and climate? Or assist in meeting the broader Global Goals in terms of sustainability, conservation, climate emergency, wellness, economy and community, in relation to 'building back better, greener and fairer'?
